Work Besties is a community for ambitious women navigating leadership and career growth in corporate and professional workplaces.
Work Besties events are intimate, in-person sessions focused on self-leadership, confidence, and reflective leadership conversations. These events are designed to feel human, not corporate, and are grounded in helping people connect meaningfully while walking away with practical tools to support their growth.

Karina Seng is a strategic leader with 20 years of experience in financial services, innovation, and transformation.
She founded Work Besties to create the kind of space she wished she had earlier in her career: one where women could connect meaningfully, support each other’s ambitions, and grow together. Known for her warm, engaging facilitation style, Karina blends real-world leadership experience with a passion for helping others build confidence and clarity in their careers.

Women at any career stage are welcome! Whether you’re five years into your career, stepping into leadership for the first time, or already in a senior role. These sessions are especially valuable for women who are reflecting on their growth, exploring leadership, or navigating what’s next in their career.

Nope! While the sessions are designed with corporate and professional women in mind, and themes/context is shaped by corporate/professional experiences, the insights apply to anyone navigating their career or leadership journey. If the topic resonates with you, you’re welcome to come along.

Expect an intimate, intentional space for real conversations. We sit around a table in a beautiful studio space (not a corporate office!), share insights on the topic, reflect, and connect. You’ll leave with tools, ideas and new connections - not just notes! This isn’t a workshop, panel, or sundowner/cocktail style of event.

Each session explores a different leadership or career theme. Past topics include imposter syndrome, self-doubt, values-led leadership, and authenticity.

No. The sessions are intentionally off-the-record to create a safe, open space for sharing. What’s said in the room stays in the room. That said, we’re exploring some short online sessions in future - let us know if you’re interested!

Absolutely. Many women come solo and leave feeling seen, heard, and like they’ve found their people. This is a space where you don’t need to have it all figured out.

Just yourself. You’ll get a notepad, pen, drinks and snacks, plus take-home tools like a “Note to Self” action card and a digital resource after the session.
