Hiya! I’m Karina - nice to meet you.

I founded Work Besties because I wanted a space where professional and corporate women in Perth could truly connect, beyond networking event, to share advice, support each other, and grow together.

Navigating leadership at a young age, I often wished I had a network of women to learn from, confide in, and grow with. While I had strong male mentors, I lacked a group of women who truly understood the unique challenges of leadership transitions. 

Over time, I learned the power of women supporting women. Having a trusted community has transformed my career, confidence, and fulfilment. Now, I want to create that space for others: a space where women can connect in meaningful ways, support each other’s ambitions, and grow together.

And it can be super loud when we are in moments of growth (making us feel unworthy, inexperienced, and nervous about what’s ahead for us). Self-doubt, inner talk, and imposter syndrome is what we will be exploring in our first Leadership Lounge session. It affects so many of us in our day to day work, taking up space rent free in our heads.
